Launch Projects Directory Dashboard📋 Overview
The Projects Directory groups operational activities, deliverables, and assignments together under a clear organizational structure. While Clients define who you work for and Purchase Orders define how much you get paid, Projects define what work you are doing.
➕ Create a Project
Navigate to the Projects panel and click "Add Project". Define the project name, attach it to an End Client, assign a reference code, and use the PO Linker tool to connect it to an active Purchase Order for a specified calendar duration.
✏️ Edit & 🗑️ Delete
Edit: Change statuses (Active to Completed) or link additional POs for extension phases. Delete: The system verifies no timesheets, deliverables, or invoice components are bound to the project before removal.
📑 Field Definitions
Project Name: Descriptive title. Reference ID: Client-side internal project or cost-center tracking identifier. PO Links: A relational mapping that connects this project to one or more Purchase Orders over specified date ranges.
🔗 System Interrelationships
Projects serve as the core relational anchor for both Timesheet Logs and specific project Deliverables. They link the hours you work to the financial terms of a Purchase Order, which is in turn linked to the Client record.
